A tészta hozzávalóit összegyúrjuk és letakarva fél órán át pihentetjük. Közben a töltelék hozzávalóit egy tálba tesszük és összekeverjük.
A tésztát két egyenlő részre osztjuk, és lisztezett deszkán 3-4 mm vastag téglalap formára nyújtjuk. Megkenjük őket a töltelék felével és feltekerjük. A tekercseket nyolc-nyolc egyenlő szeletre vágjuk és a vágott felükkel felfelé, sütőpapíros tepsire tesszük a csigákat.
Kissé lenyomkodjuk a tésztát és 170 fokra előmelegített sütőben 15-20 perc alatt aranybarnára sütjük.
