A lisztet elmorzsoljuk a margarinnal. A tojásfehérje és a sajt kivételével a többi hozzávalót is beletesszük és jól összegyúrjuk, hogy egy rugalmas tésztát kapjunk. Konyharuhával letakarjuk és 10 percig pihentetjük.
Lisztezett, sík felületen félujjnyi vastagságúra kinyújtjuk a tésztát és a kimaradt tojásfehérjével lekenjük, majd rászórjuk a 7-10 dkg reszelt sajtot. Feltekerjük, mint a bejglit, a két végét összecsipkedjük, kissé benyomkodjuk, majd a sodrófával kicsit meghengergetjük. Letakarjuk és megint 10 percig pihentetjük.
Pihentetés után kb. ujjnyi vastagságúra kinyújtjuk, a tetejét lekenjük a felvert egész tojással, majd megszórjuk a reszelt sajttal és a köménnyel. Pogácsaszaggatóval kiszaggatjuk.
