Elkészítés:
A liszthez keverjük a cukrot, a vaníliás cukrot, a sót és a citrom reszelt héját. A közepébe mélyedést készítünk és belemorzsoljuk az élesztőt. Ráöntjük a langyos tejet és pár percig pihentetjük, hogy az élesztő beinduljon.
A vajat/margarint felolvasztjuk, majd a tojással együtt a liszthez adjuk. A robotgép dagasztóbetétjével simára-fényesre kidolgozzuk, letakarjuk, és 45 percig kelesztjük.
A szilvát kimagozzuk, és apró kockákra felvágjuk. A cukorral, a fahéjjal együtt feltesszük melegedni, hogy kicsit összeessen és levet engedjen. A keményítőt kikeverjük egy kis vízzel, majd a szilvához adjuk és besűrítjük vele a szilva levét. A tűzről lehúzva hűlni hagyjuk.

45-60 percig sütjük. ,A sütés vége előtt 15 perccel óvatosan megkenjük/meglocsoljuk a csigák tetejét a vaníliáscukros tejjel és készre sütjük.
Ízlés szerint porcukorral megszórva és vanília sodóval kínáljuk.
