Az almát megpucoljuk és lereszeljük.
A tészta hozzávalóiból egy jól gyúrható tésztát gyúrunk, majd kétfelé osztjuk.
Az egyiket, lisztezett deszkán a tepsink méretére kinyújtjuk. Majd sütőpapírral bélelt, vagy kikent tepsibe fektetjük.
A reszelt almát kinyomkodjuk, meghintjük fahéjjal és a lapon egyenletesen eloszlatjuk.
Kinyújtjuk a másik lapot is, és befedjük vele a tölteléket.
Egy tojássárgájával lekenjük az almás pite tetejét, egy villával több helyen megszurkáljuk, hogy sülés közben a gőz távozni tudjon.
A pitét 180fokra előmelegített sütőben 40 -45 perc alatt megsütjük.
Kockákra vágva kínáljuk.
