Elkészítés:
Csipet cukorral, a fél dl langyos tejben az élesztőt felfuttatjuk.
A lisztbe beletesszük a felfuttatott élesztőt (kovászt), a tojásokat, a zsírt, a cukrot, a sót, és a maradék 4 dl langyos tejet. Jól összedolgozzuk, összegyúrjuk. Egy rugalmas, de nem ragacsos tésztát kell, hogy kapjunk (ha szükséges tegyünk hozzá még lisztet). Letakarjuk és kb. egy órát pihentetjük, míg a duplájára nem nő.
Ha megkelt a tészta, egy lisztezett sík felületen átgyúrjuk és három egyforma részre osztjuk.
Az első cipót kb. 2 mm vastag téglalap alakúra kinyújtjuk és 1 evőkanál zsírt elkenünk a tésztán, majd feltekerjük, mint a bejglit. A másik két cipóval is így járunk el.
Sütőpapírral bélelt tepsibe hármas fonással megfonjuk, majd tiszta konyharuhával letakarjuk és kb. 40 percig pihentetjük. Utána felvert tojással lekenjük a tetejét.
Előmelegített sütőben 160-170 fokon kb. 40 perc alatt szép, aranybarnára sütjük
