Elkészítés:
Egy lábasba beleöntjük a zabpelyhet, és adjuk hozzá a vizet (vagy tejet, szójatejet). Keverjük jól össze, adjuk hozzá a csipet sót és a nyírfacukrot, majd lassú tűzön folyamatos kevergetés közben főzzük 5- 6 percig, amíg krémes állagú nem lesz. Ekkor vegyük le a tűzről, tegyük kis tálkába és adjuk hozzá a gyümölcsöket. Már fogyaszthatjuk is.
Ez csak egy verzió, de adhatunk hozzá különböző magokat is (pl.: mandula, kesudió), ízesíthetjük fahéjjal, vaníliával, keverhetünk hozzá aszalt gyümölcsöket vagy egyéb friss gyümölcsöt (pl.: banánt karikákra vágva, fügét, őszibarackot) kedvünk szerint. A lehetőségek tárháza végtelen, az alapreceptet használva készítsük el ízlésünk szerint, és fogyasszuk egészséggel.

Egy igazán tápláló és finom reggeli, amivel rengeteg vitamint, rostot és tápanyagot juttatunk be a szervezetünkbe. Ha unod a szendvicseket, akkor próbáld ki, hidd el nem fogod megbánni. Nagyon sokféleképpen lehet variálni, nyugodtan engedd szabadjára a fantáziádat.
