A lisztet összekeverjük az édesítővel és a nagy csipet sóval. ( Én nem tettem bele csak 5 dekányi édesítőt, mert a töltelék nagyon édes amúgy is.)
A szobahőmérsékletű vajat 20 másodpercre betesszük a mikróba és a liszthez adjuk, majd, elmorzsoljuk. Hozzáadjuk a tojássárgákat és összegyúrjuk. Ha szükséges tegyünk hozzá egy pici tejet, hogy szépen összeálljon a tészta. Folpackba csomagolva, 1 órát pihentetjük a hűtőben.
A datolyákat kimagozzuk majd a narancslével együtt pürésítjük.Ízlés szerint lekvárral és reszelt narancshéjjal ízesítjük és simára keverjük.
Az omlós tésztát nyújtólapon vékonyra nyújtjuk. A tésztából kb. 10-12 cm-széles csíkokat vágunk és a csíkokra vékony csíkban rákanalazzuk a datolyakrémet.
Feltekerjük a tésztát, majd kis darabokra vágjuk és sütőpapírral bélelt tepsire sorakoztatjuk. 180 fokra előmelegített sütőben 20-25 perc alatt megsütjük. Csak addig süssük, amíg szép halványsárga színt nem kapnak.Porcukorral meghintve kínáljuk.
