A narancskrémet készítjük el először, aminek legalább pár órát állnia kell a hűtőben, de el lehet akár előző nap is készíteni.
A tojásokat felverjük, elkeverjük az édesítővel, a narancslével, a citromlével és a keményítővel. Vízgőz felett, alacsony lángon folyamatosan kevergetve besűrítjük. Nem szabad nagy lángon főzni, mert kicsapódhat a tojás. 8-10 perc alatt készen van, ekkor levesszük a tűzről, átöntjük egy másik tálba, hogy ne főjön tovább, majd hozzákeverjük a kókuszolajat. Amikor kihűlt, betesszük a hűtőbe, ahogy áll még tovább sűrűsödik a krém, de használat előtt ki kell venni és szobahőmérsékletre kell melegednie, mert a kókuszolaj darabos lesz benne.
A keksz hozzávalóit összegyúrjuk. A kókusztejet kis adagokban adjuk hozzá, csak annyi kell bele, hogy jól formázható tésztát kapjunk. Nedves kézzel kis golyókat formázzunk a masszából, picit lelapítjuk és sütőpapíros tepsire rakosgatjuk. 180 fokos sütőben kb 12 perc alatt megsütjük.
