Hozzávalók továbbá egy közepes méretű lábos, /sütemény/rács és egy nagyobb lábos, ami akkora, hogy ráborítva a kisebb lábosra, befedi azt. Persze, ha valakinek olyan luxusban van része, hogy van gőzölője, akkor az is megfelel, de nélküle még izgalmasabb.
Az élesztőt a cukrozott langyos tejben felfuttatjuk. A lisztet átszitáljuk egy nagy keverőtálba, közepébe mélyedést készítünk. Ebbe tesszük bele a puha margarint, a tojást és az élesztős tejet, és a citromhéjat. Az egészet jól összedolgozzuk, tetejét megszórjuk egy kis liszttel és letakarva meleg helyre tesszük kelni.
A megkelt tésztát 3 egyenlő részre osztjuk. (jó méretes gombócok lettek belőle nekem, mert én csak két felé osztottam, szóval ti osszátok 3felé a tésztát) Közepükbe szilvalekvárt teszünk és gombócokká formáljuk (sehol ne maradjon lyuk, nehogy kifolyjon a lekvár). Konyharuhával letakarjuk és további 20 percen keresztül kelesztjük őket.
Eközben a lábosban vizet forralunk (nem kell teletenni), tetejére rácsot ültetünk, amit előtte beolajoztunk. Erre helyezzük a gombócokat ( 2db szépen elfér egymás mellett, az sem baj, ha egy kicsit összeérnek) és lefedjük őket. 20 percen keresztül gőzöljük.
Mialatt gőzölődnek, elkészítjük az öntetet. (én pudingporból készítem az előírtnál 1 dl-rel több tejet és vaníliarudat adok hozzá így főzöm készre)
Levéve a rácsról egyből tálaljuk, vaníliaöntettel meglocsolva és a darált mákkal megszórva.
