Elkészítés:
A krumplit sós vízben, héjában megfőzzük. (Így jó darabig eltart, viszont megfőzve és kicsit visszahűtve könnyű hámozni. Ha valaki időszűkében van, megteheti azt, hogy meghámozza, felkarikázza a krumplit, és forrásban lévő vízben 8-10 percig főzi a karikákat, aztán óvatosan szűri le, hogy ne törjenek össze.)
Amíg a krumpli készül megfőzzük a tojásokat is, majd meghámozzuk felszeleteljük és félretesszük. A kolbászokat felkarikázzuk és megpirítjuk a bacon szalonnával együtt.
Amikor a krumpli megfőtt, langyosra hűtjük, meghámozzuk és felkarikázzuk.
A sütőt 180 fokra bekapcsoljuk, alsó felső sütésre.
A tepsi alját karikákra vágott krumplival fedjük le, kóstolás után megsózzuk. Befedjük a tojás szeletek felével, erre következik a megpirított kolbász és bacon fele, valamint a kisült zsírjából is csepegtetünk rá pár kiskanállal.Rásimítunk egy jó adag tejfölt. majd kezdjük újra a rétegezést. Burgonya, só, tojás, kolbász-bacon és tejföl.
Ha úgy jön ki a lépés, és marad annyi krumpli, a második kolbászos réteg tetejét is beboríthatjuk krumplikarikákkal. Végül a záró tejfölréteg következik, amit megszórunk reszelt sajttal.
Mehet a sütőbe, ha azonnal kell, akkor körülbelül háromnegyed-egy óra alatt sül össze. Ha viszont van idő, csodát tesz vele, ha két menetben sütjük.
