Hozzávalók:

  • 2 kg eper
  • 40-80dkg cukor (az eper édességétől, illetve attól függően, hogy zselatinos vagy a hagyományos szalicillal történő tartósítást választjuk)
  • késhegynyi citromsav
  • ¼ kávéskanál szalicil

Elkészítés:

Az epret megmossuk, kettévágjuk, és egy lábosba tesszük.

Hozzáadjuk a cukrot,és a citromsavat, lassú tűzön melegíteni kezdjük..

Amikor az eper levet engedett bot mixerrel pürésítjük, hozzáadunk 2 késhegynyi tartósítószert (szalicilt)

Lassú tűzön folyamatos kevergetés mellett pépesre főzzük.

A lekvárt tiszta üvegekbe töltjük,majd celofánnal lezárjuk (2 réteg celofán közé kevés szalicilt teszünk).

Száraz-dunsztba tesszük 1-2éjszakára.

(erre a célra tökéletesen megfelel egy hűtőtáska amit kibélelünk törölközővel,vagy egy ruháskosár pokróccal bélelve)

Tipp:Ha nem szeretnénk sokáig a tűzhely mellett állni,használhatunk zselésítő tartósítószert.
